I personally have this camera for a few months now. Its pretty much compact and is cheap. This camera is worth its cost. Its got manual mode too in which you can adjust shutter speed, iso, aperture and even the focus. Rarely is all these features found in the cameras of this price range. So, if money is an issue and you want a small camera then you can definately go for this camera.
You can find reviews and specifications for a number of powershot cameras here:

CUSTOMER REVIEWS:

One word- distortion, September 9, 2009
By L. Rhoan (Oakhurst, ca United States) -

I thought I had done lots of research before I purchased this speaker set, but obviously not enough. The set was, as others had mentioned, smaller than I had imagined, but did not put out the sound as some were raving about. I purchased these to use on a patio boat for 4th of July so I needed some volume and since I am quite picky about the tone and the sound, I wanted something with a little bass. Every time I turned it up to get any sort of volume the speakers went into cardiac arrest and made this horrible growling sound. I thought maybe I did something wrong, so I check all the connections and tried it again twice with the same results. Don't waste your money on this.

Small but efficient, September 8, 2009
By B. Grossman "Music Lover" (Bay City, MI)

I purchased this speaker so I could take my music outside. I have used it working in the yard and at the dock by my boat. It is small enough to be easily portable and provide all the sound I need. Of course it is still new but so far, no problems.

Perfect for travel and for baby's room, September 7, 2009
By BaltimoreMom (Baltimore, MD)
OK, people...this docking station is less than $40 and for the price, it is a fantastic item. The sound quality is excellent. No you won't be able to listen to it at super volume to host a party, but that's not what it was meant for. We use this daily to put on music for our baby during nap time. Because she's so accustomed to music during her nap times, we can't travel without this system. We've taken several trips and this solidly built item has lasted through international baggage handling as well as road trips where we throw our bags around. It's a very simple system, great sound quality, and solidly made. Can't go wrong with this item and the price is just awesome.

As John Arbuckle has said,"you only get what you pay for".
The Cyber Acoustics Docking Speaker is not a BOSE, but it
is exactly what I expected for the price. It keeps my iPOD
charged and allows me to listen to music while working on
the computer.
References :
http://www.amazon.com/Cyber-Acoustics-Portable-Digital-Docking/product-reviews/B000KE48CM/ref=cm_cr_dp_all_helpful?ie=UTF8&coliid=&showViewpoints=1&colid=&sortBy=bySubmissionDateDescending

5.0 out of 5 stars Superlative sound, but no remote switch., July 24, 2008
By Samuel Chell (Kenosha,, WI United States)

[Update: In answer to some questions, this stereo has a conventional audio input, so you can easily use it with sound sources other than an iPod. As someone has observed, the Cyber Acoustic web page claims the Nano 3g can't be charged by the CA-421 dock. Au contraire! When using electrical power and the included dock adapter, I had no difficulty charging a Nano 3g with this CA-421 dock. In fact, contrary to the company's description, it did the same with a Classic and the Touch (I don't own an iPhone, though.) Since writing the following, I've "gone through" other speakers, including the most popular rechargeable Altec Lansing and Logitech, both of which balk at playing the newest Touch. This inexpensive iRhythms model actually sounds competitive and continues to be the only portable I can depend on (no doubt due to the well-constructed adapters and the provision for using regular AA alkalines). As for the outdoors volume limitation, even the very pricey, much lauded Tivoli iPal falls flat on its face when used outside. These battery-operated machines simply are not backyard party animals.]

After becoming attached to a JBL Micro, I decided I could use another, more affordable version. The Cyber Acoustics dock-speaker seemed like a worthy candidate, especially at a half to two-thirds the price of the JBL. Frankly, I wasn't expecting a unit as good as the vaunted JBL but was willing to sacrifice some quality to save a few bucks.

Surprise. If anything, the Cyber Acoustics sounds better than the On Stage Micro! Tastes will vary, but the CA-421 is slightly warmer, has deeper and fuller bass, and is less inclined to distort when playing files recorded excessively "hot." The Micro is a bit more crisp-sounding with a slight edge in treble frequencies (as noticed while comparing the drum's hi-hats and ride cymbals on the two units). I'm finding the Cyber Acoustics unit "wears" better for extending listening stretches...Read more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Looks good, sounds great, does all that is required, March 21, 2008
By Craig Weems (Houston, TX USA)

I was looking for something cheap to listen to podcasts while I was working in the garage. This thing plays loudly with no apparent distortion. Very well designed with digital volume control. Recharged my iTouch in less than an hour. At the present it has adapters for all iPods regardless of what the descriptions may say. Had I paid twice as much I would have still regarded it as a bargain.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fab little speakers, March 27, 2007
By sandy see (Atlanta, GA USA)

These speakers have great sound for their size. If you're looking to spend this amount on speakers, then they are great. I listen to dance music when I'm travelling and the sound is good when it's played reasonably loud. My only (small) complaint is that I have a white iPod and only black speakers are available. But apart from that, I'm really.

i would think the lotus would win on a tight track, but not by a huge margin, the vette would kill it on a faster track.

but on the road, the lotus is small cramped, rides extremly rough, has no cargo space, radio sucks, i doubt it has a/c etc....

while the vette would make a pretty decent everyday car, good radio, comfortable, good a/c, power everything etc....

if you plan on just racing it and driving it now and then on weekends, go for the lotus, if you plan on using it frequently on the road, get the vette.

also, the vette can be upgraded easily, while the lotus cannot generally be modified
References :
I loved Superman Returns. I have no idea why the majority of people seem to have disliked it. I thought the actors all did a great job, the script was great, and the whole atmosphere of it was good.
To me, it seemed far less corny than a lot of the superhero films (like Spider-Man 1 and 3, X-Men 1 and 3, Elektra, Dare Devil).

Superman Returns had a really nice classic, inspirational sort of feel to it, which is the way Superman should be. He's not a dark character like Batman, so you can't expect a Superman movie to be dark and gritty like Dark Knight.

Some people say Superman Returns was boring and didn't have enough action. I did not find it boring because the character interaction was very good and it was more of a serious story with good characters and a good plot than just some BS slapped together to fit some action into. Plus, Superman is such a powerful character that he's not really the sort of character that gets in strait up physical fights with villains- because he'd beat anyone in 2 seconds. So Superman Returns does a great job of pitting Superman against major tasks like stopping a giant plane from crashing, saving the city from a massive earth quake, and getting rid of a gigantic new continent created by Lex Luthor. All of these situations provide a great display of Superman's tremendous powers.

I'm really sad to read the news that they're canceling any planned sequels and are going to re-start fresh with a whole new crew.
References :
This camera marries some of the best features of the Canon S series like zoom and manual flash with the convenience of the A series. This camera is an upgrade of the SX100 and feels much more sleeker than the previous model.

Here is my take on the camera:

Strengths:
- 9MP CCD sensor with DigicIII processor, the CCD sensor is 1/2.3 inch which is bigger than the most SD series cameras resulting in better pictures
- Controls are intuitive and a separate replay start button on the back gives you the flexibility to switch on the camera for playback without extending the lens
- Feels good in the hands, battery compartment gives the camera a better grip, DSLR like black color
- Huge 3" LCD scratch resistant screen makes composing shots easy
- Great 10X optical zoom and 40X digital zoom
- Flash can be flipped up or down as needed, this camera also offers 3 manual flash settings which really helps with portraits
- Sharp pictures - Daylight pictures are excellent and zoom is great for capturing landscapes
- Many modes to shoot - night mode, portrait, landscape, kids and pets, indoors, special scene modes (fireworks, aquarium, foliage, snow, beach etc.) and custom colors too
- 2 extra buttons at the back for changing exposure in 1/3 stops and also adjust for face detection
- Macro mode results in stunning close-ups with outstanding level of detail
- Uses 2 AA batteries, can take 300-400 pics with one set of rechargeable NiMHs and if you run out of battery they are universally available

Limitations:
- Size and bulk makes it inconvenient to carry at all times, this will probably become your vacation/ special occasion camera.
- No optical viewfinder, has not bothered me but can become an issue for some especially in bright sunlight or if you want to conserve battery
- Noise is noticeable beginning at ISO 400, ISO 1600 mostly unuseable
- Cannot adjust focus or optical zoom while shooting in movie mode, you can only zoom in digitally which reduces movie picture quality
- Typical Canon chromatic aberration (common problem with P&S cameras)
- No RAW shooting mode

Overall, this is a great camera for the price if you want a camera with high zoom, especially for shooting outdoors in good light. It also offers some manual functions as well as flash reduction which helps you take the best picture.

i am a superman fan...and honestly i am not disappointed with Superman Returns, Brandon Routh is the perfect actor for Superman although his acting skill is still average. BUT...they should make a better Superman Movie which I heard that they will make a superman trilogy (8 hours long) from the beginning.
I am just disappointed that they make Batman Begins and The DArk Knight better than Superman Returns.
