I’m the technology person at a small Long Island business and I know we can save money simply by switching to any one of half a dozen other carriers. I know they can all provide phone service, but how are they to deal with when you have problems? Is there a Web site dedicated to comparing phone service plans for businesses? User reviews would also be nice.
http://ewebtelecom.com has a best rate button and actually does the comparing for you. The thiing that you have to realize is that you local phone company, Verizon probably, owns the lines and the equipment. Anyone else is reselling their services. They are able to sell it cheaper because they don’t have the overhead of maintaining the lines and equipment. There are many things you can do to reduce costs and get more capability. Implementing VoIP is one of them. A virtual PBX service is another.
When you call who ever you bought the service through, they call Verizon. They usually carry more weight than you would alone and get your problem resolved faster.
