I’ve been looking for digital cameras. I think im more into cannon brand so if you have things on that it would be better.
If you want a compact, and you’re willing to spend about $400, take a look at the Canon PowerShot G10.

Actually the best, I think, is by Hassleblad at about $35-Large.
If you’re talking about every day folks I own and recommend the
Canon Rebel XS. At $599 it’s an excellent camera that’s easy to learn and use.

I would recommend Canon SX20IS 12.1MP with 20x Wide Angle Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.5-inch Articulating LCD.Great zoom camera that take good picture and good HD video.
